A draft of amendments to be made in the Rules and Procedures of the Georgian parliament was approved with 87 votes pro during the plenary sitting on Wednesday.
MPs of the opposition Citizens party, Aleksandre Elisashvili and Levan Ioseliani, prepared the draft-law.
Based on the proposed changes, prior to the recognition of the authority of the Parliament elected in 2024, at least 2 MPs instead of 4, presented by a political party, would be able to form a political group in the supreme legislative body.
