Armenian PM expresses sympathy to Georgian counterpart on death of Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Thursday had a phone conversation with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
According to Armenian media, Pashinyan, on behalf of the people of Armenia and personally, once again extended sincere condolences to the government of Georgia, the Georgian Orthodox Church, and the fraternal Georgian people on the death of Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.
In turn, Kobakhidze expressed gratitude for the warm words and support.
Earlier, Pashinyan had also sent a letter of condolences to Kobakhidze regarding the passing of Ilia II.
