Armenian Foreign Ministry: Armenia to stand in solidarity with friendly people of Georgia

Armenian Foreign Ministry expressed condolence to Georgia and Georgian people over the Batumi residential building collapsing tragedy.

“Saddened with news of collapse of a residential building in Batumi city (Georgia). Our sincere condolences to the families of victims and heartfelt wishes of speedy recovery to all injured. Armenia stands in solidarity with friendly people of Georgia,” Armenian Foreign Ministry tweeted.

Part of a five-storey residential building on May 26 Street in Batumi collapsed on October 8.
