Armenia reports first case of Kawasaki syndrome in a 4-year-old child

A 4-year-old child with coronavirus has been diagnosed with Kawasaki syndrome in Armenia, Armenian Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan wrote on Facebook.

The Minister noted that “several countries reported growth in the number of children with Kawasaki syndrome, and some researchers link this to COVID-19.”

Armenian Minister of Health pointed out that the country “purchased immunoglobulin drugs specifically for the treatment of this syndrome.”

Arsen Torosyan called on citizens to strictly follow recommendations of Minister of Health.
