Archbishop Zosime: We support autocephaly of Ukrainian Church, however, final decision will be made after decree of Ecumenical Patriarch
The Holy Synod session of the Orthodox Church ended at the Patriarchate of Georgia.
As the father Zosime, Archbishop of the Tsilkan and Dushet Eparchy stated the issue of Ukraine has been discussed at today’s session, however, the Holy Synod refrains from taking a concrete decision until Ecumenical Patriarch’s resolution is published. As he noted Georgian Church supports the autocephaly of the Ukrainian Church, but the final decision will be known later.
