Archbishop of Skhalta says Holy Synod is united

“There is unity in the Synod, we are very united, there is no force that can separate the Mother Church and Georgia, Archbishop of Skhalta, Spiridon Abuladze, told the GPB’s First Channel.

According to Spiridon Abuladze, high-ranking clergymen are brothers blessed by the late Patriarch Ilia II.

He remembered the period when nobody dared to visit churches, but Ilia II changed the situation and returned people to the churches.

“Therefore, we say that his prayers will brighten, unite and protect Georgia. We, the clergymen, are blessed. There is unity in the Synod; we are very united, there is no force that can separate the Mother Church and Georgia.

The Apostle Paul says that a different opinion may lead to a better opinion. This does not mean that there is a crack in the unity. Some may say one thing, some another, and then we can choose the best one, but there is unity in the Synod,” he stated.
