Participants of the rally against the adoption of the so-called Foreign Agents Bill physically assaulted newly elected Public Defender Levan Ioseliani and MP Aleko Elisashvili near the Parliament building.

Protesters tossed eggs at Levan Ioseliani, splashed water on him, and called him “Russia’s slave.”

Levan Ioseliani stated he had arrived at the location to assess the situation.

The police used water cannons and teargas in a crackdown on a protest against the so-called Foreign Agents bills at the Georgian Parliament building. Participants in the rally are protesting the People’s Power-tabled so-called Foreign Agents bills.
