Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili on Wednesday said an anti-corruption working group was open to everyone.
The Speaker’s remark follows the opposition’s demands over the establishment of the anti-corruption agency.
“Everyone was welcome to join in and contribute to the working group. There are several models around the world, including in Europe, and an appropriate project will be created based on an examination of these models,” he noted.
As a part of the 12-point plan of the European Commission, the ruling party initiated today a package of legal changes to strengthen the anti-corruption activity.
