Annual inflation rate at 12.8 per cent, GeoStat reports

The annual inflation rate made 12.8 per cent, said the National Statistics National Service (GeoStat).

Prices went high for grocery products and non-alcoholic beverages by 3.3%. The cost of vegetables, bread, coffee, tea, fish, fruits, meat, sugar and other food products increased.

Prices in transport sub-group went up by 3.7%, clothes and shoes by 4.9%.
