Georgia’s representative at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025, Anita Abgarian, performed the song “Shine Like a Star” on stage during the grand final number 15.

The song, Shine Like a Star, was composed by Giga Kukhianiadze. Mariam Ghvaladze, a member of the band Candy, which previously brought Georgia victory at Junior Eurovision in 2011, collaborated on the lyrics with him. Georgian Public Broadcaster’s First Channel produced the music video for the song. It was directed by Temur Kvirkvelia, with costumes designed by Iza Nadareishvili.

Eighteen European countries will compete in the final of Europe’s most popular junior contest.

Georgia is the most successful nation in the history of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, having secured victory four times. This is the second time Georgia is hosting the event, following Andria Putkaradze’s triumph at Junior Eurovision 2024.
