Anaklia Development Consortium – Transaction, with which Conti Group was to leave project, not carried out

Anaklia Development Consortium today will provide an explanation about participation of Conti International Investment Company in Anaklia Deep Water Port Project.

The consortium confirms the information that the transaction with which Conti Group had to leave the project was not carried out and therefore, Conti Group remains a shareholder of the project. Conti Group reserves the right to leave the project, but carrying out of the transaction is not planned for the nearest future.

Conti Group supports Anaklia Deep Water Port Project and believes in its success – reads the statement released by Anaklia Development Consortium.

The American investment company Conti Group remains a shareholder of Anaklia Deep Water Port Project, – Anaklia Development Consortium announced on October 25. According to the consortium, the company changed its decision about quitting the project.

The information about the withdrawal of Conti Group from the project became known in August of 2019.
