Ana Japaridze won the gold medal at the European Para Taekwondo Championship currently underway in Munich.
Georgian para athletes also claimed four additional medals at the continental tournament. Lika Chachibaia (47 kg), Sandro Megrelishvili (70 kg), Nata Ochigava (57 kg), and Mariam Niniashvili (52 kg) each finished the competition with bronze medals.
The European Championship in Munich began on May 11 and will conclude on May 14. Georgian para taekwondo athletes will continue competing for medals in the coming days.
