Ana Dolidze says Zurab Adeishvili's remnants trying to maintain power in judiciary
Remnants of Zurab Adeishvili (former Justice Minister) are having a decisive fight to maintain power and control in the judiciary; I cannot even call them a clan, – Ana Dolidze, non-judge member of the High Council of Justice, told journalists today.
Dolidze hopes that during interviews, candidates for life-long judges will feel that they are committed only to their own conscience. “The main importance of this stage of interviews is the judicial candidates to feel that they are not subordinated to anyone and therefore, they are accountable only to their own conscience. I think there will be a fight for this for the next three years,” Dolidze said.
