Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili responded to the opponents’ criticism of not convening the Security Council. He said there was no necessity but the government had to be in constant regime in discussing security risks.

“The most important Security Council in this country is the Government of Georgia, which is the main body that ensures the security both militarily and economically, and to bring it to the level of whether or not a meeting of the Security Council has been convened is upon the Prime Minister,” Papuashvili said.

“Amid the war in the heart of Europe, we see that Georgia is secured from risks,” Parliament Speaker added.
