Ambulance workers rally to demand higher wages

Tbilisi ambulance workers are striking to demand a 100 per cent salary increase. They gathered in front of the Emergency Coordination and Emergency Assistance Center together with the trade union representatives.

The striking employees claim that the Ministry of Health cancelled their bonuses rationed for the Covid program, although the number of visits did not reduce. The strikers pledge to keep on protesting until their demand is met.
