Ambassadors in Georgia urge citizens to get Covid-19 jab

Ambassadors of the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the EU Mission to Georgia call on all citizens to get vaccinated to protect themselves and their loved ones.

The epidemiological situation in Georgia has recently deteriorated. Earlier today, the country reported 2,676 coronavirus cases, 4,119 recoveries, and 30 deaths. Georgia’s total case tally reached 484,254, among them 425,651 people recovered, and 6,436 died.

The field hospital was set up in Digomi Olympic Village in the Georgian capital Tbilisi. Health Minister earlier today said surge hospital would be used in case of emergency only.
