Ambassador Ross Wilson, who has served as American Chargé d’Affaires in Tbilisi since early November, will be departing Georgia and returning to private life upon completion of his temporary assignment in mid-May, – Reads the statement released by the US Embassy to Georgia.
“He was honored to have the opportunity to represent the United States in Georgia and to further develop our bilateral relationship. After his departure, Elizabeth Rood will resume her role as Chargé d’Affaires with the full confidence of Washington”, – the statement reads.
Ross Wilson assumed the role of chargé d’affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi in November 2018.
