Ambassador Herczynski says EU most successful peace project in history
“The European Union is the most successful peace project in history. We stand for peace, stability, development, and prosperity,” said Pawel Herczynski, EU Ambassador to Georgia.
Journalists asked the Ambassador to remark on GD Honorary Chair Bidzina Ivanishvili’s statement saying “The Georgian government wants partnership relations with the European Union and the USA, but not at the expense of war.”
“The European Union is the most successful peace project in history. We stand for peace, stability, development, and prosperity. We have decided to open our doors for Georgia. We want Georgia to be part of the family. We want Georgia to decide together about our collective future.
Now it’s for Georgians to decide if they want to join us and if they want to become members of the European Union. I sincerely hope that Georgians will not miss that opportunity,” said Pawel Herczynski.
