German Ambassador to Georgia Peter Fischer ‘warmly’ congratulated Georgia on Independence Day.

“On 26 May 1918, the Georgian people chose independence and democracy in a historic act. Then as now,  Germany stands firmly on the side of those who are committed to a free, peaceful and European Georgia,” the Ambassador wrote on X.
