According to the Roads Department of Georgia, due to a high avalanche risk, traffic has been temporarily restricted on part of the Mtskheta–Stepantsminda–Larsi Highway.
Based on information from the National Environmental Agency of Georgia, the avalanche danger level is high on the Gudauri–Kobi section of the Mtskheta–Stepantsminda–Larsi Highway, therefore the movement of all types of vehicles is temporarily prohibited on this section.
At the same time, vehicle movement on the Mleta–Gudauri section of the Mtskheta–Stepantsminda–Larsi Highway is allowed in non-stop mode, the statement said.
