All sports organizations fall under anti-doping regulations

The admission of doping control to the relevant type of sport will no longer depend on the consent of the sports organization.

All sports organizations will now fall under the anti-doping regulation. Today’s parliamentary Bureau sitting will initiate the relevant amendments.

With the changes, sports organizations will be obliged to ensure the implementation of legal consequences for violations of anti-doping rules, including funding suspension to the athlete during the sanction period.

The Parliamentary Sports Committee, which is the initiator, believes that this mechanism will make anti-doping measures more effective.
