All documents prepared by my predecessor to remain valid, Public Defender says

Levan Ioseliani, Georgia’s newly elected Public Defender, has announced plans to meet with members of the Ombudsman’s medical council.

According to him, he will visit ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili as well.

“I am going to meet with the members of the med council as well as Mikheil Saakashvili’s family and, of course, if Saakashvili wishes, I will visit him. I haven’t met anyone yet; I’ve only been working for a few days, but I’m going to do all of this,” Ioseliani stated

As Ioseliani noted, all of the documentation prepared by the previous public defender will remain in force.
