Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda highway reopens for light vehicles

Following the cleaning works, the movement of light vehicles has been restored on the section of the international Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda highway, from km 90 to km 112, according to the Department of Roads of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.

However, due to snow and ice, the movement of vehicles with trailers, semi-trailers, and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats is prohibited on this route. Vehicle traffic remains unrestricted in the remaining section of the highway.
