Ahali leader views participation in local elections as disregarding people's will
“Entering in the local self-governance elections race means either disregarding people’s will or being Bidzina’s agent,” wrote Nika Gvaramia, leader of the Ahali party on the social network.
According to Gvaramia, the only option the party considers is new parliamentary elections conducted by an impartial election administration and the release of political prisoners.
“I hope no opposition party (I don’t mean only those who overcame the 5% election barrier), will run in the local elections by any motive. The only option for our coalition is new elections conducted by an impartial election administration and the release of political prisoners. All the rest will be Bidzina’s games and assigning legitimacy to his regime.
P.S. All videos were ‘reported’ on Facebook, including the video posted on the participation in local elections. It would not be difficult to guess tho reports everything to limit distribution of my postings,” Gvaramia wrote.
