Adam Kinzinger labels UNM Chair’s arrest as concerning move

Congressman Adam Kinzinger echoed UNM Chair Nika Melia’s arrest and urged the Georgian government to “stand down from this dramatic action.”

“This is a very concerning move by the Government of Georgia. Given the tense situation, I call on the Government to stand down from this dramatic action. We are all watching,” he tweeted.

Earlier this morning, the police arrested the Chair of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) Nika Melia.
