The Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) hosted the Actual Media non-governmental organization Journalism Course graduates, who got familiarized with the television workflow and the specifics of the work of the Azerbaijani-language news program on the First Channel.
The guests also toured the newsroom, observing journalists at duties.
Actual Media NGO is conducting the third journalism course, aimed at developing journalistic skills among ethnic Azerbaijani youngsters and promoting their civic integration.
Ramilia Aliyeva, Head of the GPB’s Diversity Georgia Group, highlighted the significance of GPB’s relationship and cooperation with regional media outlets and their support.
“Today, young people from Marneuli visited the Public Broadcaster. They have completed initial journalism courses at Marneuli local media but wanted to see the work of journalists and television,” she said.
