Achondroplasia management protocol to be passed in mid-July, Chkhaidze says

The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) convened another meeting on Monday between the working group on the achondroplasia management protocol and the Rare Diseases Coordination Council.

Ivane Chkhaidze, a member of the Council, stated that the protocol would most likely be passed in mid-July, which will include Vosoritide as one of the disease management options.

“I believe Georgia has created one of the best protocols. Only two nations have such a convention, and we will be the third,” Chkhaidze stated.
