About 38 thousand people have been vaccinated against Measles for the last 10 days – Amiran Gamkrelidze, Director of National Center for Diseases Control said.
Gamkrelidze said that people showed great interest in the necessity of vaccination and that Georgia would defeat the epidemic of Measles it the latest dynamics was preserved. “People realize that Measles spread can be stopped only through vaccination,” he said.
Gamkrelidze claimed that the Center continued working in all municipalities intensively including with respect to filling up the stores of vaccines.
