481 people killed in road accidents in 2019

A total of 481 people were killed in road accidents across Georgia in 2019. The number is an increase by 22 people in comparison to 2018.

The statistics was published on the web-page of Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). The number of injured people last year was 7921; the number was 9047 in 2018.

The number of road accidents is decreased. The 5839 road accidents took place in 2019, while 6452 – in 2018.
