Seven more families have been evacuated from the landslide zone in the village of Kursebi, Tkibuli Municipality, the Mayor of Tkibuli Municipality, David Kublashvili announced.

According to Kublashvili, a total of 45 families have been evacuated from the disaster zone at this time.

The population has already been evacuated from the area where the landslides occurred, and the families are no longer in the area.

Due to the development of landslides in the village of Kursebi, all types of transport on the Kutaisi-Tkibuli road are prohibited.

According to the National Environment Agency, three groups of geologists are at the site of the disaster to determine the causes.

In addition, according to the Emergency Management Service, representatives of various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as relevant equipment, have been mobilized to the site. Firefighters are actively carrying out work.
