Tinatin Berdzenishvili: Training at Regional Journalism Academy will be conducted for journalists from Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia
Training at the Regional Journalism Academy will be conducted for journalists from Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia,- Tinatin Berdzenishvili, First Deputy Director General of First Channel made this statement at the conference-seminar of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) “Digital Transformation” today.
“As a result of the works carried out with the European Broadcasting Union, EBU Academy regional learning hub opens in Georgia. The Georgian Public Broadcaster will be the main partner. This space will serve 50 journalists per course and 15 journalists from Georgia will have the opportunity to undergo training free of charge.
Thematically, the learning will be diverse, ranging from the development of mobile journalism, ending with field journalism. We start with GPB journalists –radio, television and online. The first 15 journalists will be selected from Public Broadcaster. Trainings will be conducted by the best professionals. Training courses will take place twice a year in six-month cycles in Georgia”, – Tinatin Berdzenishvili said.
Under the cooperation of the First Channel and the European Broadcasting Union, the regional Academy of EBU will be established in Georgia.
