PM instructs relevant agencies to prepare for interrupted mass immunization
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili instructed all relevant agencies to ensure full readiness of the vaccination centres for the uninterrupted immunization process.
According to the government, the country expects one million shots at the beginning of July. No gaps should be allowed in the number of immunization teams or properly functioning registration procedures, PM Garibashvili noted during the Interagency Coordination Council on Tuesday.
Garibashvili highlighted the need to manage the mass immunization process effectively to maintain a stable epidemiological situation in the country. It is crucial under the conditions of eased restrictions and tourist season open.
The Interagency Coordination Council decided to lift the restriction on movement from July 1. Wearing facemasks outdoor will be no longer mandatory. Facemask rule stands in mass gathering places like bus stops, marketplaces, public transport, and indoor facilities.
