Georgian parliamentary delegation meets Chief Executive of London Chamber of Commerce
Members of the Georgian parliamentary delegation met Chief Executive of the London Chamber of Commerce, Richard Burge.
According to the Foreign Relations Committee Chair Nikoloz Samkharadze, the parties focused on Georgia’s investment potential and opportunities.
“We agreed that soon after the epidemiological situation improves, Georgia will host a delegation of businesspersons from London,” Samkharadze said.
Georgian lawmakers also took part in round-table discussions of the Geo-Strategic Council. Participants spoke about the complex situation in the region and prospects to deepen cooperation.
The official visit of the Parliament Speaker and Georgian lawmakers to the UK ended on February 10. Although, the parliamentary delegation continued meetings with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and academia of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in the UK.
The Georgian parliamentary delegation includes Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee Nikoloz Samkharadze, Head of the Parliament Speaker’s Office Levan Makharashvili and MPs Nino Tsilosani, Giorgi Khelashvili and Teona Akubardia.
