Effective June 1, assistance to socially vulnerable children will increase by 50 GEL. Instead of the existing 100 GEL, assistance for socially vulnerable children will be 150 GEL in Georgia, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili announced at today’s Cabinet meeting.
Garibashvili said over 215,000 children would benefit from this assistance. PM also pledged this program to continue in the coming years as “care for children is our direct duty.”
A total of 341 million GEL will be allocated from the budget for the program this year.
