Davit Lomidze to represent Georgia at the JESC 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

The grand final of the ninth season of Ranina took place on the GPB First Channel, where 9-year-old Davit Lomidze was crowned the winner of the popular children\u2019s music competition. As part of his victory, Lomidze will represent Georgia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026.<\/p>\n

The final featured three contestants: David Lomidze, Liliana Chachanidze, and Giorgi Naskidashvili. During the final round, they performed well-known compositions by Revaz Lagidze, with musical arrangements created by maestro Zviad Bolkvadze.<\/p>\n

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will take place in Malta on October 24, where Georgia\u2019s representative will compete against young performers from across Europe and beyond.<\/p>\n

Georgia has won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 4 times, setting a new record for Junior Eurovision. No other countries had similar results before.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Georgian contender group “Bzikebi” (Wasps) won the 2008 JESC, which was held in Lemesos, Cyprus<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Group Candy won the 2011 JESC, which took place in Yerevan, Armenia<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Georgian participant Mariam Mamadashvili won the 2016 JESC, with the entry song “Mzeo” (Sun)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

2017 Junior Eurovision Song Contest was held in Tbilisi, Georgia<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n
