Zurab Japaridze: Three acceptable scenarios on table; decisions to be made in due course

“There are three scenarios under consideration, and I find each of them acceptable. We can make a decision when the time comes; I see no issue with that,” stated Zurab Japaridze, one of the leaders of the Coalition for Changes.

According to Japaridze, the opposition is currently discussing the administration and regulations necessary for conducting new elections.

“We are assessing when the new elections should occur, how they should be executed, and what administrative measures and rules are needed. There is a shared vision, and all parties agree on the broader objectives. However, there are differing opinions regarding the technical details—specifically, whether legislative changes are necessary, how to implement them, or if alternative solutions exist that do not require such changes. These details are still under discussion.

My position is clear: I am comfortable with all three scenarios. Whether we decide today, or tomorrow or leave all three options open for future resolution, I have no concerns. Ideally, we would agree on a single, unified approach, but the discussions remain flexible,” Japaridze explained.
