Zurab Abashidze to hold next meeting with Gregoriy Karasin

“We are visiting Prague not to talk about music and poetry, this format was created to protect the trade and economic interests of the country,”  – Zurab Abashidze, Special Representative of Georgian Prime Minister for Russian Relations  responded to Prague negotiations.

The meeting between Zurab Abashidze and Gregoriy Karasin, Deputy Russian Foreign Minister will be held in Prague on January 31.

Zurab Abashidze will raise several issues during the talks, including a Customs Monitoring Agreement, which envisages monitoring of corridors by neutral observers, the document still is not  signed by Russia.

Abashidze believes that in a newspaper interview with Karasin, the different understanding is being read, therefore Georgian side will try to clarify the positions at the meeting.
