Zourabichvili deems precious to award Niko Kvaratskhelia's mother if it were last time she delivers award aspol President
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Wednesday deemed it “precious” to award Niko Kvaratskhelia’s mother if it were the last time she delivers an award as a President.
She said, “Today is a symbolic and important day.”
“This day is dedicated to the memory of that young man who accomplished a lot in a short time and left a lot to his friends, family, and generation.
We know he was raised overseas, educated there, and traveled to many places, and this is today’s reality that no one stays in one location but goes to see the globe.
Isolation has never appealed to us and never will. My hope is that these young people will still consider this country their own and see its potential,” said the President.
