Why should you turn your TV sets onto Georgian First Channel – New Georgian TV Series
Starting September 16, Georgian First Channel will offer the viewers new Georgian TV Series and documentaries. For the first time, an original Georgian product will take up prime time in the everyday regime.
On Mondays and Tuesdays, a new documentary series “Colonel’s Torn Letters” will go on the air — Director – Giorgi Barabadze, Author of Scenario – Misha Basiladze. The documentary is based on the letter discovered in a ventilation pipe of Writers’ House. After completion of the project, TV series “At Tbilisi Door” by Aka Morchiladze and Ketevan Sadghobelashvili will be broadcast.
From October, on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, TV Series „Ideal Mother” will be back on the air with the new format of 30 minutes instead of 15.
According to Tinatin Berdzenishvili, First Deputy General Director of Georgian First Channel, high-quality and original product determines the broadcaster’s uniqueness.
“The new TV Series creates values, which match with pop-culture and requirements of modern television, respectively. Documentaries depict Georgia’s culture and history,” Berdzenishvili said. Berdzenishvili says that the message of Georgian First Channel to the viewers is the following: “If you want to watch high-quality and unique Georgian products, you should simply turn on your TV sets on First Channel every day at 22:00.”
