The National Environment Agency warns of the expected worsening of the weather in some regions of Georgia.

Forecasters predict short rain with lightning, hail, and wind till the morning of July 13 in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti, Samtskhe-Javakheti, and Shida Kartli regions.

The agency warns that the anticipated rain might cause floods on Georgia’s small rivers and landslides in hilly and mountainous areas (danger rating medium).
