According to Georgian National Environment Agency, the air temperature will harshly drop across Georgia on January 9-12.
In some areas of east Georgia, heavy snow is forecast. Strong winds are expected in Georgia’s western areas from January 10 to 12. On specific roadway sections, fog, blizzards, low visibility, and freezing temperatures are possible.
According to the agency, the air temperature will drop to -3, -5 degrees in west Georgia on January 10-12, potentially causing citrus crop damage, and to -8, -10 degrees in the east, potentially causing fall crop loss.
