Vladimír Weiss, the outgoing Slovak football coach of the Georgian national football team, held a press conference at Hualing Hotel and talked about the 5th tour match of Nations League to be held between Georgia and Armenia on November 15.
Weiss confirmed that he was quitting the post and named Temur Ketsbaia as his best replacement.
“I do not know who will be the coach of the Georgian national team after me. I think Temur Ketsbaia and my mix would not be bad. As for the young players of the team, they have a great future. I will always remember the 5 years spent here. ”
Weiss announced about his decision of quitting the post during the conference following the match held between Georgia and North Macedonia at Dinamo Arena Stadium in Tbilisi on November 12. “It is regrettable, that the story ended this way,” Weiss said.
Georgia lost the ticket to UEFA EURO 2020. North Macedonia reached UEFA EURO 2020 as it defeated Georgia 1:0 at Dinamo Arena Stadium on November 12.
Georgia will play a match against Armenia within the framework of Nations League at Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi on November 15. Georgian Public Broadcaster will air the match live.
