US Senators warn Georgian PM of possible Policy Shift over Agents’ Law
“As longstanding friends of Georgia, we are compelled to express our profound concern regarding your government’s decision to re-introduce and advance a Russian-style foreign agents law,” reads the letter of 14 US Senators addressed to Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
The bipartisan group of US senators said that that if the bill is passed, they would be compelled to encourage a shift in U.S. policy toward Georgia.
