US National Intelligence: Russian occupation remains main threat for Georgia

The 2018 report of Daniel Coats, Director of US National Intelligence (DNI) reads that occupation of territories by Russia remains the main threat for Georgia.

According to the report titled “Evaluation of Global Threats by US National Intelligence,” Russia obstructs to Georgia’s integration into western structures.

The report also says that the ruling party Georgian Dream will attempt to drive the opposition to the dead end and reduce institutional limitations of the power.
