“I would like to start my remarks today with a quote from President Biden. It’s a quote that he makes in his national security strategy. The president says, ‘We will work in lockstep with our allies and partners, and with all of those who share our interests, we will not leave our future vulnerable to the whims of those who do not share our vision for a world that is free, open, prosperous, and secure,'” said US Ambassador to Georgia, Robin Dunnigan.
At the Foreign Relations Committee meeting, Robin Dunnigan said that the US and Georgia should deepen friendship and partnership.
“In that strategy, President Biden also commits to working to deepen our alliances and our partnerships, and that is exactly what he asked me to do when I arrived here in Georgia, to deepen our already strong partnership and friendship.
Georgians and Americans do share a special friendship, which I believe is rooted in our shared love of freedom and liberty. It is also rooted in a belief that if we have the freedom to do so through hard work and dedication, we can make the world a better place for our children,” she said.
