President of the EU Commission, Ursula von der Leyen met with Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Wednesday, saying “The meeting comes at an important moment—the upcoming elections will be a crucial test for Georgia’s democracy.”

The Georgian President also echoed the meeting on X: “Reaffirmed to President Ursula von der Leyen the Georgian people’s commitment to accelerating our European path.
