UNM's Pavlenishvili: Saakashvili, Georgian people will celebrate defeat of anti-Georgian regime in October
On Friday, Deputy Secretary General of the United National Movement (UNM), Irakli Pavlenishvili, stated, “Today, the Ivanishvili-sanctioned judicial clan imprisoned the [ex] President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, because the President entered his homeland.”
According to Pavlenishvili, “the UNM and Mikheil Saakashvili will celebrate the defeat of the anti-Georgian regime at the end of October, marking the start of a significant period of reconstruction in Georgian history.”
Today, the Court heard Saakashvili’s case for illegally crossing the state border, which led to his imprisonment. The probe into this case started on October 1, 2021.
