UNM's Khabeishvili: Parties will form gov't democratically after elections. Decision behind door incorrect
“We do not think that decision made silently behind the door is correct. There are elections, and the parties will form the government democratically,” said Levan Khabeishvili, Chairman of the Political Council of the “Unity-National Movement.”
His remark follows Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili’s initiative that she would present a composition of technical government before the parliamentary elections and called on the four signatory opposition alliances to confirm their commitment to this part of the Georgian Charter.
As Khabeishvili states, “The party shares the spirit of the Charter, however, taking specific decisions and consultations behind people’s backs is incomprehensible to citizens.”
“I don’t like it, and I don’t share it, therefore it’s critical to wait for events to unfold. We have elections ahead; we have to end Ivanishvili and the Russian regime,” Khabeishvili added.
