UNM's Abdula Ismailov ends hunger strike due to health concerns

The United National Movement (UNM) member Abdula Ismailov has stopped a hunger strike because of health concerns, UNM member Giorgi Botkoveli said on Sunday.

The other members of the opposition party, Davit Kirkitadze, Ana Tsitlidze, and Temur Janashia, continue the hunger strike in the Parliament until jailed ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili is granted a transfer to another country for treatment.

Botkoveli pledged the party to “use all forms of protest,” adding that more UNM members consider joining the hunger strike, which was announced on 15 December.
