UNM wants early election for the nation, gets it within their party, Speaker Papuashvili says
According to Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, the National Movement accomplished for itself what it desired for the country: they demanded early elections for the nation and got early elections inside their party.
“The problem is a lack of values inside the party, not a lack of leadership. It has the same goals as the party had when it formed the authoritarian government. The United National Movement has no future in politics until it changes its methods, principles, and rejection of democracy. They will always lose as long as they refuse to acknowledge the fundamental principles of democratic governance,” Shalva Papuashvili said.
